Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This explains what data NextUp (usenextup.app) collects, why, and what you can do about it. NextUp is operated by Ben Carroll, trading as NextUp, based in Ireland.

1. What we collect

DataWhy
Your email addressTo identify your account, send you a login link, and send billing/service emails.
The account/trading data you enterAccount labels, prop firm names, account numbers (if you choose to add one), balances, drawdown limits, profit targets, trade history and notes — used purely to show it back to you inside your dashboard.
Payment informationHandled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid and your plan, never your full card number.
Basic server logsIP address and request logs, kept briefly for security and debugging.

We don't run any advertising or analytics trackers (no Google Analytics, no ad pixels, nothing that profiles you across other sites). The only cookie NextUp sets is a strictly necessary session cookie that keeps you logged in.

2. How we use it

We never sell your data, and we don't use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run NextUp, each acting as a data processor on our behalf:

We don't share your data with anyone else, and never for marketing purposes.

4. Where your data lives

Our servers and database are hosted in the EU. We also keep a daily encrypted-in-transit backup of the database for disaster recovery.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your workspace and its data remain accessible in case you resubscribe, unless you ask us to delete it — contact us anytime to request full deletion of your account and data.

6. Your rights

If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have rights under GDPR, including the right to:

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Ireland, the Data Protection Commission).

7. Children

NextUp isn't intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy occasionally. If we make a material change, we'll make reasonable efforts to let active subscribers know (e.g. by email).
